Teen Writing Group* : Tuesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 pm

Grades 6-12

Connect with other teen writers. Build your skills with our exercises and tips. Laugh and learn with other teens. Here’s your chance to write for fun! We meet every week, all summer long!

*Registration required. Will be in person on the library lawn. Please bring a blanket to sit on. 

 

Paint-a-Palooza: Thursday, August 5, 4:00 pm—5:00 pm

Let out your inner Jackson Pollock and create your own masterpiece on the library lawn. Please wear your play clothes, because you will definitely be getting messy.

 

Teen DIY Activity: Terrariums via Zoom*: Monday, August 16, 4:00 pm – 5:00pm

Build your own mini terrarium with Kathleen Rullo, from Jardin Terrariums. Each participant will learn how to build and care for their terrarium. All supplies will be provided and an email will be sent when the materials can be picked up from the Liubrary.           Grades 6 -12. *Registration required

 

N.E.R.D.S via Zoom* : Thursdays, August 12 & 26, 4:30 pm—5:00 pm

Are you in grades 4-8 and looking for something fun to do? Join the N.E.R.D.S. for a different activity each time we meet. *Registration is required.

Teen Volunteer Thank You Pizza Party*
Friday, August 13, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

 

A pizza party for our Teen Volunteers! If you volunteered this summer, this party is for you. Join us on the lawn for lunch and games. The rain date is August 14th. Registration required

The  2021 Summer Reading Game

The Teen Summer Reading Game is in it’s final week!

For teens entering grades 6-12, and have read an ENTIRE book between the game dates; fill out the reading log that is located on Seymour Library’s website, you can then select which raffle you would like to enter.
