Alzheimer’s Basics Class*
Join us to explore how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s, learn to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and identify strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage of the disease. Alzheimer’s Association always requires pre-registration. The number to call and register is 1-800-272-3900. This is a 24/7 helpline, so people can register any time of day.

Tech Tutors: For more in-depth help, we offer free one-on-one classes covering topics like using your smartphone/tablet/laptop, setting up an email account, basic word processing, etc. Classes are by appointment and last 30 minutes.
Self-Help: The Public Library Association’s DigitalLearn.org offers short introductory classes on a wide variety of topics, such as Getting Started on a Computer, Intro to Email, Creating Resumes, Online Job Searching, Basic Microsoft Word, and more. All classes are free.
